It's Not Point to Point
If we were going point-to-point, with few obstacles in our way, we could use a compass to direct our path. But the objective is not to just go somewhere but 'log some miles.' Five to be exact.
When I sit down to create the Breakfast Club route each week from Fleet Feet, I am faced with what seems to been infinite possibilities of five-mile routes. Even with all the possibilities I still gravitate back to some of our, or maybe I should say 'my' favorites.
This week the route is one we have done before and it runs streets on both the east and west side of Bailey Cove. You can find the turn-by-turn directions below. (Printed oute sheets will be available at the start.)
Remember, we leave Fleet Feet promptly at 5:30 am. There will be a safe place to store your car keys. And also remember you are invited to join us after the run for a quick breakfast at Bruegger's Bagels in Jones Valley.
One last thought before you look at the route. It is very dark at 5:30 am and will stay that way for most of the run. Please wear reflective clothing and also bring some type of light.
