On most Sundays a worship choir is a part of the 'on-stage' worship team. This team usually has prepared a 'ministry song' that it presents to the congregation. But over the last few years those songs have often congregation friendly, meaning it doesn't take long for the congregation to catch-on and join in. That's exactly what happened this weekend. The worship choir led out in a new song by Tommy Walker "I Will Not Be Shaken." On the second time through the chorus I noticed many people in the congregation singing along, so they were asked to stand and join in singing with the choir. Isn't that the role of the choir, to encourage the congregation to join in on the conversation of worship?

Isn't that the role of any of the worship teams from those on stage to those running the technology?
